Step 1 - Identify Your Values

Values are ways in which you would like to live your life. Goals, on the other hand, can be specific behaviours that help you act in line with your values. Values give you direction, but unlike goals, they can never be achieved. A goal of training three times a week could be related to your value of improvement. Another goal of winning a championship might be related to your value of challenge.
